January 30th 2001 – De Montfort DSU Arena
This one won’t take long to write up…..as I don’t remember much about it!!!
I’d seen Starsailor at Bon Jovi in Stoke the year before, so this was to see them again and JJ72 were getting rave reviews around the time.
All I remember is that JJ72‘s drummer (I think) hobbled on with a leg in cast which didn’t bode well, but he didn’t play too badly. I don’t recall much of what they played, but it was good. I recall nothing about Amen or Alfie!!!
Starsailor also played a really good set, but I can’t tract down a set list, so my thoughts remain very faint on this one……sorry!
