April 26th 1999 – Rock City, Nottingham
No support for this show, this was an early show and Terrorvision were on stage a 8pm, not sure why, but coming over from Leicester on a Monday night, this wasn’t a bad thing for us.
This was pretty much the same sort of show as in Leicester earlier in the year and by now I’d decided the “Shaving Peaches” album was a little bit too commercial for me, so this was one gig too many, which was a shame (especially as I’d see them again at the Reading Festival later in the year…but that would be different!).
I wasn’t disappointed, but a debate we often have, is can you see a band too much? I think at this point in time, I did need a bit of a break from Terrorvision (sorry Tony).
We had some great fun, but I needed to find something new now.
It wasn’t clear where Terrorvision were going to go after this, as it had diverted away from the fantastic thumping sound they had developed.
I would watch and wait for the next episode……
